The ability to respond in an emergency is vital, but we want to offer more than this. The Operations Centre for example monitors weather and events which may impact in some way on the expedition and by using the satellite phone, timely information can be sent directly to the leader overseas.
In a crisis teams need to know that operational decisions are being made by experienced professionals. Either Mike Trueman or Mark Brazier will be on duty whenever expeditions are overseas to ensure that teams get whatever timely support is needed.
True Adventure uses satellite tracking to follow teams in an emergency which ensures accurate positioning thus enabling us to effectively deploy local resources.
