Few countries can match Nepal for variety. Within the next 12 months True Adventure teams will trek to Everest Base Camp, take part in their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition in the shadow of Annapurna, visit cultural and environmental sites in Kathmandu and the Chitwan National Park, with its herds of elephants and rhinos, and trek to the Kingdom of Mustang.
Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and teams can make a real difference to the quality of the life of its inhabitants when they participate in school, community and environmental projects. Team members will also be assured of an outstanding welcome - the people may lack relative wealth, but their humour, manners and hospitality would be difficult to match anywhere else in the world.
