Malawi
Malawi (formerly Nyasaland) is a land locked country in the southeast of Africa with oddly, a navy, who operate on Lake Malawi which is one of the largest lakes in Africa.
The country offers excellent opportunities for trekking. Teams can trek at heights of over 200m in the Nyika National Park in northern Malawi or head south to the Mount Mulanje Massif and ascend the highest point in the country, Sapitwa, which rises to over 3000m.
Projects with schools and communities are available throughout the country, and teams can be assured of a warm welcome.
A great destination, and at the end of your exciting venture there will be the opportunity of game viewing or you may just wish to relax on the shores of Lake Malawi.
