Japan offers a first class expedition destination for teams who want a richly varied experience, much of which is pre-arranged to allow members to get the most from the venture.
We have worked closely with the Japan National Tourist Office to put together a programme which offers a mixture of adventure and culture. The country offers superb trekking through mountains rising to over 3000m, often on ancient paths, through magnificent scenery - and teams will also be able to watch snow monkeys wallowing in hot springs.
Very few countries can match the breadth and depth of cultural opportunities which Japan has to offer. The land is full of ancient shrines and castles.
The superbly efficient transports system, including the Shinkansen (the bullet train), means that teams will be transported quickly to make the most of their time in this fascinating land.
